2012 Annual General Meeting
The Mpower AGM was held on Tuesday 30th October, 2012 at Proudfoots.

On behalf of Mr Geoff Handbury I am delighted to be here today for the Annual General meeting of Mpower.
Geoff as patron of this wonderful organisation has asked me to pass on his congratulations on your year's achievements.
Geoff did not take on his patron position lightly. Intially he and his daughter and son in law, Judy and Rowly Paterson attended a tour of Mpower with your CEO, Kerry Nelson.
They discovered the history and the great work conducted here for people with disabilities and under privileged families.
Geoff believes in the core value of Mpower.... that every person deserves the right to lead a fulfilling life.
He asked me to pass on his congratulations to CEO, Kerry Nelson, the Board Chairman, David Beggs and fellow Board members and to the fifty staff that work hard to deliver the services that make a difference in people's lives.
I urge you all to continue to work hard and in particular be aware of the funding changes.
Move with the times so the Mpower can continue to be financially viable and deliver the important services it offers our community.
I look forward to watching Mpower grow and thankyou for your commitment.
