Mpower's KIDZ in the Community program is back for the April school holidays!
Commencing on Tuesday 11 April, the very successful KIDZ in the Community program will run each weekday for the entire school holidays.
Being inclusive, supportive and flexible for all participants, the program offers a variety of exciting fun-filled activities both out in the community and in the safe and friendly environment of Mpower House. The activities are carefully chosen and planned by our Disability Support Programs Coordinator, Nelson Reason, so that they support each individual’s NDIS goals.
KIDZ in the Community is run by an exceptional team of dedicated staff who offer consistent and nurturing support, which encourages participants to try something new, make friends, and develop their social and communication skills.
In previous programs, table tennis was one of the favourite activities enjoyed by participants, so this April program will see a return to that. The program also features visits to the ever-popular Miniature Railway in Cobden, sightseeing and berry picking on the Great Ocean Road, bush walking at Tower Hill, as well as many other fun activities.
As a very popular program, KIDZ in the Community does tend to fill up fast. We encourage anyone who is interested in their child attending, to contact the Mpower Intake team to ensure they do not miss out on a place.
The intake team can be reached on 5561 8111.
