Mpower Inc is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Crothers as its new President, following the 50^th Annual General Meeting held yesterday. 

Michael brings a strong personal connection to Mpower’s vision, as well as extensive professional experience in strategic planning and data analysis. As a parent of a child navigating the NDIS system, he understands the importance of participant-centered practice and its impact on outcomes.

“I am very grateful to be a Board member of an organisation that has such a profound and positive impact on participants and their families,” said Mr Crothers. “I admire the professionalism of Mpower staff and have a strong appreciation of the important role Mpower plays in the community. I’m excited to see the organisation continue to broaden its positive impact throughout south west Victoria.”

Mpower also acknowledges the outstanding contribution of Rhys Boyle, who has stepped down after serving as President since 2018. Rhys joined the Board in 2015, served as Treasurer in 2016/17 and 2017/18, and led the organisation as President for the past seven years. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding Mpower through a period of growth and transformation.

“Rhys has made an exceptional contribution to Mpower,” said Janette Lowe, CEO. “His commitment to governance and community service has helped shape the organisation’s direction and values.”

In addition, Mpower welcomes Anthony Boyle as the newly appointed Treasurer. Anthony brings over 30 years of business experience and a deep personal connection to Mpower’s services.
