We are seeking an experienced and capable Lead Residential Care Support Worker to join our growing Residential Care team.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and compassionate professional to provide leadership within a therapeutic residential care environment while supporting children and young people to thrive.

 

As a Lead Support Worker, you will lead shifts, support and mentor Support Workers, respond to complex situations, and help create safe, stable and nurturing home environments for children and young people with complex needs and behaviours.

 

About You

You will have:

• Experience in residential care, youth work, disability services or a related field
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Confidence in managing complex situations and behaviours
• A passion for supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes
