Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing the populations in the south west of Victoria. Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families in the south west for over 40 years. The organisation emerged to meet the needs of families of children with disabilities in the Warrnambool region at a time when only institutional models and city based services were available.

Over time the operation of Mpower has grown from a small voluntary service to an accredited agency employing in excess of 60 staff and providing a range of support services to over 800 families regionally.

Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Mpower is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and / or experienced person to fill the part-time position of Administrator. Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills are essential. The position requires the ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a busy team.

Key Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following in their applications:

Minimum of 3 years administrative experience /Certificate 3 administrative qualification
Can do’ attitude, flexible and adaptable.
Excellent planning and administrative skills
Strong written and verbal skills
Accurate computer literacy and typing

Additional Requirements

Knowledge and experience of Quickbooks/payroll
Knowledge and experience of OH&S or prepared to undertake training
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Satisfactory Police Check
Subject to a 3 month probationary period
