Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing the populations in the south-west of Victoria.  Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families in the south-west for 45 years.

 

The organisation emerged to meet the needs of families of children with disabilities in the Warrnambool region at a time when only institutional models and city-based services were available.

 

Over time, the operation of Mpower has grown from a small voluntary service to an accredited agency employing in excess of 70 staff and providing a range of support services to over 1200 families regionally.

SOUTH WEST CARERS RESPITE NETWORK COORDINATOR

The South West Carer & Respite Services Network Coordinator position draws together the many elements of the South West Carer & Respite Network to conduct activities that create positive improvement in the planning, promotion and provision of Carer & Respite services across the South West Sub Region.

 

The Network has been in operation since July 2001 and was designed as the representative body for agencies in the aged care, mental health and disability sectors with a stake in respite and/or supporting carers.

Administration Officer

This is a newly created role in our ever evolving Corporate Services Team. Reporting to the Coordinator Corporate Services, this busy and varied role will involve key co-ordination activities such as coordinating the Community Transport Program and assisting in the areas of building and office maintenance, as well as the creation of promotional resources and other general administration.
